At 10:57 a.m., police responded to Montvale Avenue after a two-car accident. One of the vehicles fled the scene. The other vehicle sustained heavy damage, but did not need to be towed. There were no reported injuries. The vehicle that fled left an imprint of a partial license plate on the other car. Police are investigating.
At 12:15 p.m., police received a call from Lexington Street after someone struck a parked car. The owner of the parked car said the car was parked in the lot for about a week. There was damage to the left rear quarter panel and left rear taillight.
At 1:12 p.m., an employee of a Cummings Park company reported someone stole a UPS package. The package included a quartz crystal electronic part valued at $624.
