Tuesday, May 27

At 10:03 a.m., a Warren Avenue resident reported an “old-fashioned bike” was stolen from outside her apartment.

Wednesday, May 28

At 5:26 p.m., police received a report from Main Street after a man living in an apartment left the country. A man said the resident abruptly left the apartment and returned to Bangladesh. The person was concerned that the man was involved in suspicious activity. The man left a note saying he didn't think he would be allowed back into the country. Police searched the apartment and believe the man did not leave spontaneously. He bought a plane ticket in April and didn’t leave until the end of May. Police also didn’t find anything that showed the man was involved in any terrorist activities. He left a message in shaving cream on his bathroom mirror that read “T was here.” Police notified the Department of Homeland Security as a precaution.
