POLICE LOG: Salisbury Man 'Not Happy With Meal'

The following is an excerpt from the Woburn Police Department log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log.

Oct. 25 – At 7:19 p.m., Keith Edward Wilcox, 41, of 12 Garfield Street in Salisbury, was arrested and charged on an outstanding warrant and resisting arrest. According to police, officers received a report of an intoxicated man inside McDonald’s on Cambridge Road. When police arrived, they spoke to the man, who said he was “not happy with his meal” and admitted to police that he was harassing employees. Police discovered the man had an active warrant for his arrest and attempted to place him in custody. Police reported the man struggled and resisted, also threatening police. Wilcox also reportedly kicked at officers as he was placed in the cruiser.

Other Incidents:

Oct. 25 –

At 7:27 a.m., police responded to a two-car accident at Montvale Avenue and Draper Street. According to police, both cars were towed from the scene. There were no reported injuries, said police.

At 8:02 a.m., police were dispatched to a two-car accident at Cambridge Road and Locust Street. According to police, heavy stop-and-go traffic during the morning commute, solar glare and road construction likely contributed to the crash.

At 11:10 a.m., police were called to Sturgis Street for a two-car accident. According to police, one car was backing out of a driveway when it collided with a DPW truck that was also backing up on the street. Neither vehicle needed to be towed from the scene, said police.

At 12:44 p.m., police responded to Pleasant Street for a report of a pedestrian struck by a car. According to police, the pedestrian said she was not hit by the car, but was pulled out of harm’s way by another pedestrian. The driver told police he was waved out of Abbott Street and did not see the pedestrians. He was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in the crosswalk, said police.

At 4:24 p.m., a Woburn business reported that a New York company had provided fraudulent financial records and established credit with the business. Using that account, the company picked up several truckloads of materials but did not pay for them, said police.

At 5:14 p.m., police were dispatched to a report of shoplifting at Stop & Shop on Elm Street. According to police, employees stopped a woman who had put two bottles of Tylenol in her purse and walked through the registers without paying. The woman returned the Tylenol and agreed to not frequent the store.

At 6:14 p.m., a Winn Street gas station reported receiving three counterfeit bills as payment from a customer. The man who passed the fraudulent bills is described as a white male, about 5-feet 8-inches, with brown hair and eyeglasses.
