POLICE LOG: Tomatoes Stolen From Yard

July 5 –

At 12:48 p.m., police responded to a two-car accident on Mishawum Road. According to police, one driver rear-ended another. The driver told police that he looked down momentarily and did not realize the car in front of him had stopped. There were no reported injuries.

At 5:01 p.m., a Warren Avenue resident reported that a four-foot tomato plant was stolen from his back yard between July 3 and 5.

At 7:34 p.m., police responded to Cedar Street for a report of a domestic dispute. According to police, a couple in the midst of a break-up had argued while one was moving belongings out of the apartment. The female told police that she believed the man had taken a set of keys and also scratched a television. The man told police he did not have the keys and the television was purchased in his name. Police escorted the man off of the property.
