POLICE LOG: Truck With $1,000 Worth of Tools Inside Stolen

The following is an excerpt from the Woburn Police Department log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. 

Featured Call of the Day

Feb. 9-

At 8:55 a.m. police responded to a Main Street location for a report of a stolen dump truck. The truck, which is marked with the name Pascuccio Bros., was stolen sometime the night before. The owner stated he went to bed around 11 p.m. and the truck was parked in the yard but the next morning it was missing.

Inside the vehicle were numerous hand tools and two Bosch drills, each valued at $500.

Feb. 7-

At 2:11 p.m. a Winter Street resident reported her personal information had been compromised. She said she had been receiving credit card applications she did not apply for. She also received a credit card that someone else had opened in her name.

Feb. 8-

At 10:04 a.m. police responded to a caller at the Hilton Crowne Plaza who said he had received a suspicious text message. The caller told police he had received a message from an unknown person that said “Yo, by any chance, does anyone at ur school sell firearms?” Police contacted the person who sent the message, a 19-year-old male in Bridgewater, who said it was a joke intended for a friend. Police forwarded the message to the Wymouth Police Department, where the caller is from, and the Bridgewater Police Department, where he currently resides.

At 4:42 p.m. police responded to a caller who stated she had received a threatening phone call from her boyfriend’s ex-wife. Caller stated the woman threatened to kill her and her children. She said she had never met the woman before and this as the first threatening communication she had received.

Police advised the caller to contact them again if this continues and to save any voicemails or text messages.

Feb. 10-

At 5:39 p.m. police responded to a Border Street residence on a report of a dispute between neighbors. The landlord stated the upstairs tenant had been yelling at a neighboring tenant who he allowed to park in the lot during snow removal. The upstairs tenant told police she wanted the vehicle towed from her spot.  The upstairs tenant also said she had argued with the downstairs neighbors earlier because she was video taping them remove snow as she thought they were moving it to her spot. Same was advised of rights.

At 6:36 p.m. police responded to an Alice Road residence on a complaint of an unwanted individual. Caller stated her ex-boyfriend had been there but left when she started to call the police. She said he had called earlier and wanted to come by but she told him "no". A short while later he showed up and wanted to come in and wouldn’t leave even after she told him no several times.

At 6:55 p.m. a caller on Cambridge Road reported their vehicle was stuck while parked. Police noted moderate damage to the rear passenger side taillight and rear bumper.
