Featured Call of the Day:

Oct. 7 –

At 10:20 a.m., police responded to an apartment complex, where a resident reported that an unoccupied tan Honda had rolled into his parked vehicle, damaging his car’s front right quarter panel. Forty-five minutes later, he said, the Honda had been moved.  When the man saw the owner of the Honda cleaning his car, he called police. The man cleaning Honda, which police found was unregistered and uninsured, denied moving it. An officer saw minor scrapes on the Honda’s right rear bumper and a large dent in the right front quarter panel of the other car. Police advised the owner of the dented car to contact his insurance company and his landlord, to find out why the other man’s vehicles are on apartment property.

At 7:49 p.m., a man reported being assaulted on Cambridge Road near Locust Street.  While the man was walking a friend home, a vehicle approached and someone in the car asked where Taco Bell is. Two males reportedly jumped out of the car and began to punch the man.  Then they got back into a dark red four-door sedan and left. Neither of the walkers was injured. One walker has reportedly had issues with one of the men in the car.
