Police Log: Woburn Man Charged With Burglary in Somerville

Friday, July 18

At 11:02 a.m., police arrested Michael A. Giannelli, 26, 6 Aricia Lane, Stoneham, and charged him with violating an abuse prevention order.

Saturday, July 19

At 12:04 a.m., police arrested Michele Goode, 47, 21 Donna Road, Woburn, and charged her with disturbing the peace and malicious destruction of property less than $250. Police responded to Donna Road after a report of a large party. Police saw Goode chase female youths down the street. She said she was upset with cars parked in front of her house and that partygoers had walked on her property. Goode also said they damaged her pool and fence. Police asked her to go inside. While speaking to people at the party, police reportedly could hear Goode continuing to yell. The partygoers said Goode chased partygoers and kicked and hit a vehicle. Officers spoke to Goode, but she reportedly was combative and continued to yell. Police arrested Goode.

At 1:48 a.m., police placed an intoxicated 27-year-old Woburn man into protective custody after a reported domestic disturbance.

At 12:24 p.m., police responded to a car accident in the Toys R Us parking lot. A car collided head on with another vehicle. One of the vehicles backed up after the collision and then forward at a high rate of speed and struck a guardrail. There were no reported injuries.

Sunday, July 20

At 9:01 a.m., police responded to Fairfield Inn after a vehicle was vandalized. A moon roof was smashed, but nothing was taken from the vehicle. The damage is estimated at $1,000.

At 3:37 p.m., police received a call from Washington Street about a lost/stolen dog. A woman left her black pug on a leash tied to a parking sign and went inside a store. When she returned 20 minutes later, the dog was gone. Someone place an ad on craigslist saying that the person took the pug and it was safe with a rescue group. Police checked with local shelter groups that said they had not received any black pugs.

At 3:59 p.m., police responded to Pleasant Street after a motor vehicle crash involving a car and a moped. The person on the moped complained of โ€œfull body painโ€ and was taken to Winchester Hospital. Witnesses told police that the person on the moped had thrown a white object down Wade Place. Police searched the area and found a plastic bag containing a gram of marijuana and a loaded pipe with marijuana.
