Why take him all the way to MG when you can almost hit Winchester Hosp with a rock from there?

Jay, Winchester is not a trauma center and will not accept patient's with serious, traumatic injuries; they divert them to either Lahey or Mass. General. The injuries must have been severe to go to Mass. General, though.

His injuries were a lot more serious than just a fractured leg that is just the being he is in mass general with life threating injurious
