Featured Incident

On Friday, Nov. 8, police were called to Naples Ave. for a report of vandalism at a home in the area.

Police were met by the resident, who said someone damaged the shed in her back yard with a screwdriver.

The woman had just painted the shed and when she last saw it, the shed was in perfect condition. The woman believes the damage was done sometime between November 3 and November 5.

It appeared someone had carved up the wood near the door and punched a small hole in the shed. The woman said someone had put a board with nails sticking out of it under her husband's truck the previous night as well.

The reporting party said she suspects a neighbor who is being evicted from the apartment. She didn't see the woman do the damage, but suspects the woman is responsible.

Hoping to stop the damage, the woman and her husband installed cameras on the property.
