A 24-year-old Rhode Island woman was arrested on prostitution charges at a Woburn hotel on Tuesday night.

An investigator found an advertisement for Woburn “NEW LOOK; Come Spend the AfterNoon With Your UpScale Italian-19.”

The undercover officer called the phone number on the ad and told the woman who answered that he would meet her at 7 p.m. at a Woburn hotel. She also texted the undercover officer asking him whether he wanted a half-hour for $150 or an hour for $200.

At about 7:35 p.m. Tuesday, Camacho reportedly entered the Woburn hotel room. The undercover officer engaged in small talk and then took out $150. She motioned for him to put the “donation” on the dresser.

Camacho reportedly had a Trojan condom and told the officer that he was “a gold member.” The officer notified surveillance officers via a prearranged signal. They entered the room and arrested Camacho.

The woman was also arrested in January at another Woburn hotel for an outstanding warrant for possessing a firearm without a permit, possessing ammunition without a permit and carrying a firearm with ammunition.

Camacho’s ad was one of eight adult female score listings under the Woburn section of a site used by female escorts and johns, said police.

“Prostitution, a quality of life issue in that it often takes place in hotels, office buildings and/or apartment buildings where there is pedestrian traffic where customers often blend in, is often associated with drug usage, drug addiction, sexually transmitted disease, human trafficking, abuse and violence including assault, rape and robbery,” reported the Woburn Police Department Vice/Narcotics Unit.
