Robbery Reported at TD Bank on Montvale Avenue

The robbery, where no weapon was shown, happened on Sunday.

The Woburn Police Department is looking for a suspect who allegedly robbed a bank over the weekend. 

According to police, at 3:04 p.m. police responded to the TD Bank at 280 Montvale Avenue on a report of a robbery.

Police spoke to bank employees who showed them a surveillance tape. In the tape police could see a white male enter the bank at 2:59 p.m. and walk up to a teller and hand her a note. The teller gave the man the money in her drawer and he left the bank at 3:01 p.m. It appeared the suspect went towards Montvale Avenue when he left the bank. No vehicle was seen and no weapon was shown during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot 8-inches tall to six feet with a heavy build. He weighed between 275-300 pounds and had a double chin. He was wearing a green Guinnes hat with a green clover on the front, large round sunglasses, a long sleeve gray t-shirt with a spade symbol and “Sworn to Fun” written on the chest. He was also wearing blue jeans and new white Nike tennis sneakers.

A teller said the suspect had no facial hair and no accent.
