Featured Incident

On Thursday, Dec. 19, police were informed of a disturbance on Surrey Road involving several teenagers.

Upon arrival, the parties were separated and an officer spoke to the caller who said that a male was driving her from Woburn High School when they pulled behind the second party in question.

The female said that the male was operating a scooter erratically, standing on the seat, driving slowly and braking hard. The man then allegedly swerved at their vehicle and began to swear at them.

According to the caller, the man then challenged the car's driver to a fight and drove home. Neither resident wished to press any charges.

Police then drove to the other involved party's house, and he said that he was driving the scooter slowly on Locust Street when the car drove up behind him. The scooter driver said the car's driver swerved at him, rolled down the window and yelled at him.

The scooter driver denied operating erratically. He was advised that the incident will be documented, and was told to stay away from the involved parties.
