The following is an excerpt from the Woburn Police Department log. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account.

Featured Incident:

On Tuesday, Sept. 3, police received a report of tagged property that occurred over the weekend, related to the tagging incident at the Italian Club reported earlier to police. The most recent report of vandalism featured the letters “BRASE & CRANKS” spray pained on the building in black paint.

After viewing the security video, police noted that two youths walked up Fowle Street, crossed the road and went into an alley where they tagged the other buildings.

While they were tagging, a vehicle drove by and they ducked back into the alley. The company that called on Tuesday reported that they had a security fence, and one of the youths climbed the fence and started painting while the other served as lookout. A copy of the video was obtained by police for proper identification of two youths who live in the area.
