Stabbing Suspect Was Arrested With Knife Earlier This Month

The suspect, a Woburn resident, in a double-stabbing at Salem State University Wednesday morning was arrested in Salem earlier this month.

Salem police continue to search the area of Salem State University for Timothy Wells, 25, of Woburn, following a double-stabbing on a Salem State University shuttle bus Wednesday morning. 

Wells was reportedly arrested by Salem police at Bertram Field on Sept.3 and was found to be in possession of a knife, according to this Salem Patch police log post.

"At 11:25 p.m., police responded to a report of trespassing at Bertram Field," the post reads. "Timothy G. Wells, 24, of 5 Curtis Road, Woburn, was arrested on charges of trespassing and possessing a large knife. Wells was reportedly caught jumping the fence to the field."
