Tidd Avenue Resident Finds Man in Her Kitchen

A Tidd Avenue resident called police early Monday morning after finding a man standing in her kitchen.

She had just returned home and saw the man, who was wearing a shirt, jeans and flip flops. The man said “oh (expletive)” and ran toward the doorway where the resident was standing.

The woman tried to elbow the burglar, but missed him and she fell to the floor. The man ran away.

Police searched the residence to make sure no one else was in the home.

There were no signs of forced entry and nothing was reportedly taken.

The woman said she locks her front door. Police advised her to contact the landlord and have the locks changed.
