Shortly after the incident, Woburn Police were able to locate the suspect vehicle as it approached the address of its registered owner, according to the statement. Stoneham Police and the witness responded to the scene, where the witness identified all three suspects, who were not named in the statement.

Police claim the suspects admitted taking the packages and later discarding them on the street after discovering that they contained plastic children's toys. No additional stolen items were recovered from the vehicle, according to police.
