Featured Incident -

Police were called to Kennedy Park Drive for a breaking and entering on Wednesday, Aug. 28.

The homeowner told police that they left for work at about 6 a.m. that day and returned around 6 p.m. to find that items in their bedroom had been disturbed. Upon looking through the area, the resident said that some jewelry, rolled change, and a camera were missing.

The downstairs bathroom window was determined to be the point of entry. Police took fingerprints around the area. It appeared the suspect was in a rush since they left several pieces of jewelry behind along with additional cash that was in the house.

The caller said sometime between 4 p.m. on August 23 and 4 p.m. on August 24 a person had gained entry to a storage area. Four tools worth about $400 were stolen.

It appeared entry was gained to the property by cutting a lock on a fence and coming through a window in the area.
