UPDATED: Unarmed Robbery At Lowe's Tuesday

Police investigate.

 

Tuesday, 4:45 p.m. — Police have cleared the scene at Lowe's and are collecting video surveillance footage from area businesses to identify the possible suspects involved in the afternoon robbery.

Tuesday, 4:15 p.m. — While police continue to canvass the area and speak to witnesses, Woburn Fire reports that no emergency medical services were needed for the injured employee at Lowe's.

WFD cleared the scene without transporting the clerk to the hospital.

Tuesday, 3:59 p.m. — Police are reporting that the robbery occured at the outdoor home and garden register.

Tuesday, 3:55 p.m. — Police now searching the area of Bertucci's for a suspect that is wearing blue and white.

Tuesday, 3:50 p.m. — Woburn Fire is tending to an injured employee at Lowe's. According to reports, the suspects demanded money from a clerk before fleeing the store. 

Tuesday, 3:45 p.m. — Woburn Police are responding to an unarmed robbery at Lowe's on Commerce Way.

Shortly after 3:40 p.m., police officers responded to the report, looking for two suspects.

One man was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and was seen walking toward the Woburn Mall. He was described as 6-foot 3-inches tall. At 3:45 p.m., police learned that the suspect had entered Market Basket.

Another suspect, described as tall and thin and wearing a black face mask, was seen getting into a red car near the Red Roof Inn. The car then fled in the direction of Route 93.

Woburn Fire is also on scene for a report of a possible injury at the Woburn Mall.
