If you drove past Woburn Police on Friday, you probably saw the construction work and thought—What's going on?
If you walked or drove into the parking area, you saw the hole and may have thought—What's with that?
Well, the Woburn Police Department is expanding it's monument out front to officers who have fallen in the line-of-duty.
Spurred on by the killing of Woburn Police Officer Jack Maguire on Dec. 26, 2010, the department is adding an addition to the memorial already out front.
"We are putting in a memorial to all officers that have died on duty since the inception of the department," said Chief Robert Ferullo Friday.
The chief expects the memorial to be dedicated some time in November.
