Woburn Man Faces Indecent Assault Charges

Allegations surfaced after a Braintree school incident.

A Woburn man is facing indecent assault charges in Quincy District Court.

Thomas Germano, 51, of 1 Princeton Road, was arraigned in Quincy on two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child age 14 or over. The case was continued to Dec. 20. Germano was released on personal recognizance.

The charges stem from a Dec. 1, 2005 incident in Braintree when a school guidance counselor contacted authorities after a student disclosed having allegedly been sexually abused by a family friend. The student said the behavior had been ongoing for more than a year and involved inappropriate physical contact.
