UPDATE: Woburn Man Seriously Injured in 128N Accident

Highway lanes closed briefly due to crash.

 

A 48-year-old Woburn man was seriously injured in a highway motorcycle accident just before 9 p.m. Monday night. 

The Massachusetts State Police reported troopers from the Danvers Barracks responded to a serious crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on Route 128 North, north of the Middlesex Turnpike in Burlington.

The motorcycle driver, Patrick Naticchioni, 48, of Woburn, was seriously injured in the accident. His 15-year-old female passenger suffered minor injuries, according to police. 

At 9 p.m., only one lane was available for travel as both the man and teen were transported to Lahey Clinic and police investigated the crash.

The driver of the vehicle was identified only as a 38-year-old Danvers woman.

Mass State Police troopers are still investigating the accident.
