Vermont State Police troopers responded to the East Mountain Road home at 6:26 a.m. Tuesday morning for a report of a "bloody male... located in a snow bank." When police arrived, they found Joseph Tannetta, a 32-year-old Massachusetts man, uninjured, and covered in blood that was not his.

Police spoke to Tannetta, Walsh and several party-goers, but said all were "uncooperative" and would only say that a fight had occurred at the party.

During the stabbing investigation, Brittany Coffey, 20, was arrested and charged with giving a false name, impeding a police officer and driving while intoxicated.

Vermont State Police continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information should contact VSP Trooper Michael Tietz at (802) 773-9101.
