At 8:04 a.m. a woman came to the station to report a past assault. She said she was at her male friend’s house when his ex-girlfriend showed up and punched her during a confrontation. Police went to the house and spoke to the ex-girlfriend who denied punching the other woman but did say that after finding her in her ex-boyfriend’s bed she did pull her hair and pulled her out of the bed. The man had to restrain her while the reporting party gathered clothes and left the residence.  The male said he did not know if a punch had been thrown.

The reporting party said that was accurate except for the punch, which she maintained occurred. Police advised her on how to get a complaint for assault and battery at Woburn District Court. They also advised her on how to obtain a harassment prevention order.
