On Thursday, Oct. 3, at about 9:50 p.m. an officer was called to Lawson Street for a report of a stolen vehicle title and bill of sale.
When the officer arrived, he was told by the reported man that he just bought a Ford from another man and had placed the bill of sale on the front seat. Earlier in the day, he came out and unlocked the truck to remove the steering wheel cover.
At that point, the man went over to the neighbor’s house for an hour. Later in the evening, the man went out to the unlocked truck and the title and bill of sale were missing.
On Wednesday, Oct. 2, a woman reported breaking and entering to her motor vehicle sometime overnight.
According to the woman, when she came outside to her vehicle there was a golf colored crucifix necklace missing from her center console.
The woman said her vehicle was left unlocked in her driveway the previous night. Nothing else was reported missing from the vehicle.
