Featured Incidents-

August 17-

At 5:09 p.m. police respond to Petco on a report of a female who stole a snake. The manager said that a white female with blonde hair walked out of the store with a Mojave ball python without paying. The manager said the woman was at the counter and said she needed to get her credit card out of her car and then picked up the snake and left without paying. When the manager tried to confront the woman in the parking lot she got into a black Monte Carlo that was occupied by two unidentified males and left the parking lot.

Police traced the registration and found it belonged to a woman in Freedom New Hampshire. Police called the woman who said she did own a black Monte Carlo and that her daughter was using it for the weekend while visiting friends in Boston. Police asked the woman to have her daughter give the department a call.

Later that day the Petco manager called and said the woman came back and wanted to make financial restitution. The store said that if she paid they would not press charges. The woman made a full payment for the snake.
