Apartment Proposal Ready for City Council Vote

According to a report by the Daily Times Chronicle, the plans were moved for action by the Special Permits Committee.

According to a report in the Daily Times Chronicle, a proposed 57-unit apartment project will now move before the full Woburn City Council for final action after the Special Permits Committee heard from planners about drainage system improvements during a meeting last week.

The newspaper reported that the proposal on Main Street near the Wilmington line would be a four-story building in an area that has historically been used for industrial purposes.

Abutters have been largely in favor of the project so far, the Times Chronicle reported.
