Committee No Closer to Vote to Allow Scrap Metal at Woburn Truck and Auto

A public hearing continues next week.

The City Council's Special Permits Committee discussed again this week the proposal to allow a scrap metal operation at Woburn Truck and Auto, but came no closer to a vote, reported the Daily Times Chronicle.

Residents were denied a chance to discuss their opposition to the business by Ward 6 Alderman Michael Raymond, declining to arrange a meeting with the property owner.

The public hearing will continue on Tuesday, May 6.
