Deadline Approaching for Woburn Residents to Register Dogs

March 17 is the deadline to register dogs by March 17.

The deadline for Woburn residents to license their dogs is approaching after all registrations in the city expired on December 31.

According to a press release from City Clerk William Campbell, all Woburn dogs must be licensed through Campbell's office by March 17. The deadline to register dogs normally is March 15, but since that is a Saturday this year the date has been extended.

Residents can register their dogs in person, or by mail. For more information on how to get a registration form, visit the City of Woburn website. Forms will also be included in the city census, according to Campbell.

There is a cost associated with registering dogs in the city. Spayed or neutered dogs will cost $10 while the cost is $15 for a dog that has not been spayed or neutered.

After the March 17 deadline, the fees are $25.00 for spayed or neutered dogs and $30.00 for dogs that have not been spayed or neutered.
