The senator lunched at Cousins, a small downtown restaurant in Woburn, Monday afternoon. Surrounded by supporters and residents who dropped in for their own lunch, the senator greeted people and had a sandwich.

"It's a very important city," said Sen. Brown. "We won it last year, we want to win it again."

Although Sen. Brown said he has spent a lot of time in Woburn over the years, he had never been to Cousins before.

"It was great," he said. "There was a lot of great support here in Woburn."

While exiting the restaurant, a supporter of Sen. Brown's fell, prompting Woburn Police officers on hand to call for an ambulance. The senator quickly got up from his table to check on the woman.

Assisting her to her feet, Sen. Brown walked back into Cousins.

"Never a dull moment in Woburn," he commented.
