Water System Flushing Continues

Woburn's Water System Improvement Flushing continues with the area from Main and Clinton streets to the Route 128 Rotary up next. 

That area is slated to have flushing on Thursday, May 29 and it will last about six days. 

According to the city: 

"This round of flushing includes Mishawum Road at Clinton Street to School Street, and includes the neighborhoods of Middle Street and Forest Park Road.

"Flushing in this area will take place from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.

"Flushing operations are aimed at clearing lines of settled sediment. People living in the area of flushing operations may experience a disturbance or discolored water during the scheduled flushing work. Residents who experience flushing-related discoloration are advised the tap water run until it clears.

"Residents with questions or concerns should contact the City Water Department at 781-897-5945."
