Tuesday, 9:55 p.m.

Unofficial results are in from City Clerk Bill Campbell:

• Voter turnout was 19,369 people—75 percent of total eligible voters in Woburn (25,700).
• Pres. Obama won the city of Woburn with 10,291 votes over Mitt Romney's 8,707. The president also won the state of Massachusetts.
• Sen. Scott Brown's visit to Woburn may have spurred on voters, as he won the city handily with 10,613 votes to Elizabeth Warren's 8,620. However, Warren won the state, defeating Brown.
• Rep. Ed Markey received 12,876 votes to Tom Tierney's 5,176. The incumbent also handily .
• State Sen. Ken Donnelly received 10,065 votes to Gerry Dembrowski's 6,989.
• The local ballot question—approving more beer and wine licenses for the city—was approved 12,186 to 4,311 votes.

Tuesday, 9:30 p.m.

The Boston Globe is reporting that the local beer and wine licenses question is passing with four precincts reporting.

Also, according to the Globe, Scott Brown is winning Woburn with more than 1,000 votes than Elizabeth Warren.

Tuesday, 8:30 p.m.

The state-wide presidential election has already been called: Pres. Barack Obama has won Massachusetts.

Tuesday, 6:45 p.m.

With only 75 minutes left for voting in Massachusetts, many are still casting their ballots at this hour.

Current Middlesex Sherrif Peter Koutoujian visited Woburn earlier today and was photographed at the Reeves Elementary School with supporters.

An 80-year-old Woburn resident voted for the first time in her life today. See her story in the Boston Herald.

Tuesday, 3:15 p.m.

Scott Brown's supporters, along with several Elizabeth Warren supporters, descended on the Reeves Elementary School today for a campaign stop.

Tuesday, 1:30 p.m.

A large crowd of Democratic and Republican supporters are at the Reeves School on the West Side. Sen. Scott Brown is expected to arrive at 1:30 to greet voters.

Twitter user Dana reported to Patch, "Lines at Hurld moved quickly around 7.30... efficient poll workers! There was also a bake sale in the lobby, yum!"

We hear there is also a bake sale at Reeves!

Tuesday, 11:30 a.m.

Woburn resident Edward Tedesco reports that he was able to vote at UMass Amherst today thanks to the college running buses to and from the polls for students.

Jennifer Jones said she brought her daughter to the polls with her today. At four years old, Margaret helped mom place her vote.

Tuesday, 10:15 a.m. 

Woburn residents are voting early and often today. Several readers report that polling places were packed early this morning when voting began at 7 a.m.

Reader @laulizco reported that voters were waiting outside this morning at the Goodyear to cast their ballots, but the line had died down by 9:45 a.m.

Tom S. Fuller, also on Twitter, reported that the Clapp School was busy, but had quieted down by 9 a.m.

Irene Simas reported to Patch that 252 votes had been cast by 9 a.m. at the Joyce Middle School.

NEW: Sen. Scott Brown (R, incumbent) will be making a stop in Woburn this afternoon at the Reeves Elementary School at 1 p.m. According to Sen. Brown's schedule, it is his sixth and final stop on the Election Day circuit. The incumbent senator is visiting Wrentham, Braintree, Quincy, Boston, Lowell and Woburn today.

When he emphasized that he felt it was "an important city to win."
