How Much Does An Average Home Cost in Woburn?

You're probably not going to be shocked to hear this, but... Woburn homes aren't uber-expensive. But they're not especially cheap, either.

The average cost of a Woburn home ranks it 54th in the state of Massachusetts.

In this year's edition of Coldwell Banker's national Home Listing Report, released Thursday, Nov. 29, the average price of a typical four bedroom, two bath home is listed at $292,152.

When it comes to Woburn, however, that price jumps to $496,350, which makes it the 54th most expensive home market in the Commonwealth and the 272nd most expensive in the country.

This year’s report analyzes more than 72,000 home listings in more than 2,500 U.S. markets, comparing the listing prices of similar homes in markets across the country from January 2012 to June 2012, according to Coldwell Banker.

Perhaps not surprisingly, Weston soared to the top of the list in Massachusetts, with an averge cost of $1,105,692—it's a price tag that landed the commonweath community in the 14th spot when it comes to most expensive homes in the country.
