When he left a gaping hole in the elementary school leadership.
After meetings with staff and parents, as well as the School Committee, Superintendent Mark Donovan revealed his plan for online Tuesday.
"The model I favor, "Plan C," will be the model that will be implemented," said Supt. Donovan on the Goodyear website. "A Head Teacher will be responsible for the day-to day management of the school. There will be two building assistants to support the Head Teacher."
Assistant Superintendent Gary Reese and Supt. Donovan will "maintain a strong presence at the school to support the Head Teacher, parents, and the entire staff."
During the year, school officials will search for a new principal who will take charge in September of 2014.

"We hope to select a Head Teacher by Monday, August 27," said the superintendent. "In the meantime, we’ll continue to work to make sure that the school is ready to receive students on the first day of school, Thursday, September 6."
