The Woburn Public Schools will have early release Thursday because of the impending snowstorm.
The high school will be released at 11 a.m., the middle schools at 11:30 a.m. and the elementary schools at noon.
All afternoon school activities have been cancelled.

The latest forecast from the National Weather Service shows that Woburn could get as much as 8 inches of snow from the storm. Snow should begin to fall Thursday morning and intensify during the morning rush hour. Snow could turn to ice during the afternoon before changing back to snow Thursday night.
