Woburn Studio Owners Taking Love of Dance to Iceland

Two representatives from a Woburn studio will be heading to Iceland to teach junior couples.

Mark and Dawna Nocera's passion for teaching dance has taken them to many places beyond Woburn. And soon, it will take across the world.

The owners of Studio 665 in Woburn have been selected to travel all the way to Reykjavik, Iceland, to teach top junior dance couples. Following their trip to Iceland, Mark and Dawna will then travel to Copenhagen, Denmark, to judge the Danish Open Latin Championships as the American judges representing the country at the championship.

But for Mark, the trip doesn't end there. He will then head back to the United States to judge the Ohio Star Ball in Cleveland, Ohio.

Both Mark and Dawna, in addition to owning the Woburn studio, have been international ballroom judges and are world class dance champions have taught ballroom dance for 30 years. Out of their three decades of teaching experience, 25 years have come inside their studio located at 17 Campbell Street in Woburn.

Linda Covino, a marketing director at the dance studio, said she's seen Mark's teaching skills first hand.

"I am a student of Mark's and couldn’t ask for a better teacher," said Covino. "Mark's knowledge and teaching skills  have brought me to successful high level dancer"
