Sunday’s game resulted in a disappointing loss for the Woburn Loyal Order of Moose D1 team, who fell short to the Waltham Devil Dogs, 6-12. The game was played at Waltham High School.

Woburn’s offensive struggles started with a lost fumble on their first drive. Waltham would score twice in the first quarter, but the Trojans never gave up, working hard until the end of the game.

With the motivational cheers by the Gulde Insurance Agency cheerleading squad, the Woburn Trojans kept fighting for yardage. Early in the fourth quarter, Woburn was faced with 4th and 6, when quarterback Ryan Qualey connected with John Lafferty for a 23-yard gain, thus, keeping the drive alive. The drive continued with an impressive run by Jared Zolubos, who moved the ball to the 15-yard line. Two plays later, Ryan Ludwig took the ball into the endzone for Woburn’s only score of the game.
