Woburn E2 Trojans Suffer First Home Loss

The Woburn E2 Trojans sponsored by the Woburn Irish American had their first home game of the season against the Everett Eagles and the captains of the game were Liam Nasar, Bobby Lafferty, Symon Sathler and Patrick Malloy.

The Woburn E2 Trojans won the coin toss yet again for the third week in a row and it was time for the offense to get things started which consisted of James Breeden, Steven (Biggs) Danizio, Ryan Fisher, Dylan Galex, Dennis Gouveia, Bobby Lafferty, Liam Nasar, Devin O’Connor, Symon Sathler, Gary Silva and the quarterback for the game Patrick Malloy.

The offense had a few good plays to start things off but didn’t result in any points. It was now time for the defense to get out there and hold Everett to no points which consists of Jayden Connors, Michael Connors, William Connors, Benjamin Dubrovskiy, Chase Flaherty, Sean Lafferty, Paul Lussiano, Aidan O’Connor, Zachary Roderick, Leyland Stack, Sean Venezia, Jayden Whitmer and Jackson Young. The boys started off strong with a big sack by Liam Nasar and a big stop by James Breeden.

Other big plays were made by Patrick Malloy and Paul Lussiano with sacks and big stops by Steven (Biggs) Danizio, Bobby Lafferty and Zachary Roderick.  The boys had a great game but it resulted in a tough first home game loss of 19-0 for the E2 Team but the boys really enjoyed playing today and cam eoff the field smiling cause they know they played hard. The next game for the E2 Team is against Lawrence at home.
