Bingo to Help Inform Residents About Depression

Here are three events happening over the upcoming days.

Now that the weekend is over, get ready for the week with our Monday Essentials. Here are some events planned this week:

Bingo: Woburn Senior Center holds "Feel Good Bingo" presented by Clara Miller. During the event, which is scheduled for Tuesday at 10 a.m., there will be prizes and information along with information about depression and how to detect it early.

Woburn Meetings: On Monday the Woburn City Council Subcommittee meets at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber. The School Committee, meanwhile, holds a Tuesday night session at 7 p.m. inside the Joyce Middle School Conference Room.

Scarecrows for Solutions: Residents have the chance on Saturday to participate in Scarecrows for Solutions at McCue Garden Center. The event asks for a $15 donation that will go towards Woburn Public Library or the Woburn Boys and Girls Club. Bring long sleeve shirts and long pants and McCue's will provide the rest for you to make a scarecrow.
