Election Day Highlights Week Ahead

Now that the weekend is over, get ready for the week with our Monday Essentials. Here are some events planned this week:

Free Coffee: Thanks to the Red Sox World Series victory last week, your Monday morning coffee is on Dunkin' Donuts. The company, with multiple Woburn locations, announced that in celebration of last week's win over the St. Louis Cardinals, fans can present a coupon through the Dunkin' Donuts app that is good for one free medium hot or iced coffee throughout the day Monday.

Election Day: There's been plenty said about Tuesday's election. Now all that's left to do is vote. The mayoral race between Scott Galvin and John Flaherty will highlight the ballot, but there are also plenty of critical races for alderman and School Committee that residents will also have to decide. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Check back with Woburn Patch throughout the day for complete coverage.

Girls' Night Out: Woburn Pop Warner hosts Girls' Night Out on Friday night from 7-10 p.m. inside the Sons of Italy. The event will allow participants to check out Stella and Dot's holiday collection in addition to other activities like spray tans, temporary tattoos and a psychic.
