Preschool Skating Camp, City Council and a Red Sox Hero in Town

Here are several events happening in Woburn over the next week.

Now that the weekend is over, get ready for the week with our Monday Essentials. Here are some events planned this week:

City Council Meeting: On Tuesday at 7 p.m. inside City Hall Council Chambers, aldermen will hold their regular meeting. There is a long list of agenda items on the docket, so check back with Woburn Patch for a preview of the meeting.

Skating Camp: Registration is open for the Pre-School Ice Skating mini camp that runs from 9:30-10:20 a.m. at O'Brien Ice Rink. The class costs $55 for Wednesday classes and $40 for Thursday classes. Each course consists of two weeks of lessons.

Red Sox in Town: Former Red Sox hero Bernie Carbo will be at Woburn Public Library on Saturday at 1 p.m. talking about his experiences in baseball and battling substance abuse issues. The talk is free of charge.
