Senior Singers, Rise Up Against Hunger, and Holiday Ornaments

Here are several events happening in Woburn over the next week.

Now that the weekend is over, get ready for the week with our Monday Essentials. Here are some events planned this week:

Senior Singers: The Woburn Senior Center holds its Senior Singers event on Tuesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Senior Center events are subject to change, so residents can call (781) 897-5960 for confirmation.

Rise Up: WAAF radio host Anthony "Spaz" Parziale, who has ties to Woburn, will participate in the station's Rise Up Against Hunger event from Wednesday to Friday as he lives suspended high in the sky on a platform to raise funds for The Greater Boston, Worcester County and New Hampshire Food Banks. Spaz will remain on the platform above Framingham's British Beer Company on Worcester Road, and listeners are encouraged to stop by.

Holiday Ornament Event: Woburn Public Library holds an ornament painting workshop on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 2-3:30 p.m. for children 7 to 12 years old. Children must be able to work independently for the event, and the ornaments can range from simple to complicated designs.
