State Primary and an Undefeated Football Showdown

Here are three events happening in Woburn over the next week.

Now that the weekend is over, get ready for the week with our Monday Essentials. Here are some events planned this week:

School's Out: There is no school on Monday due to Columbus Day, and at Boston Sports Club of Woburn the kids will spend a full day off having some fun. The business hosts the School's Out Program, which includes a long list of games and activities.

Special Primary: Voters around the state are asked to come to the polls on Tuesday for a special state primary election. The election is to fill the vacancy in the office of U.S. Representative in Congress for the Fifth District.

Unbeaten Tanners: So far, so good for the Woburn High School football team. The Tanners are 5-0 on the year thanks to last week's 34-21 win over Belmont. Friday night will be a huge test for the locals. Woburn will be in Arlington at 7 p.m. against the first place and also undefeated Spy Ponders.
