Week Begins With Veterans Day Ceremonies

Here are several events happening in Woburn over the next week.

Now that the weekend is over, get ready for the week with our Monday Essentials. Here are some events planned this week:

Veterans Day: The week in Woburn begins with a Veterans Day parade and ceremony. The parade begins at about 10:30 a.m. and will march to Woburn Common. That's where a ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. to honor those who have served, some who have given the ultimate sacrifice.

Antiques Appraisal: You can bring your antiques to 827 Main Street on Wednesday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. to find out how much they're worth during a free antiques appraisal clinic.

Championship in Sight: The Woburn High School football team can win the Northwest Division 3 championship on Friday night if they're able to win on the road in Melrose. The Tanners advanced to the title game with Friday night's win over top-seeded Concord-Carlisle. Now, the locals take on Melrose with a 7 p.m. kick off.
