Army-Navy Festivities, Brunch With Santa This Weekend

There are a variety of events happening this weekend in Woburn, and here are a few of them to help you plan your time off.

Woburn and the surrounding area is full of things to do this weekend. Here is a look at some of those events.

Army-Navy Game: The annual Army-Navy football game takes place on Saturday, which means it's time for the 10th annual Ahern Family Charitable Foundation Football Luncheon, scheduled for 2 p.m. at Scoreboard Sports Bar and Grill. Proceeds from the event will benefit Operation Santa-Massachusetts, which supports local military families during the holidays. Tickets to the event are available at www.ahernfoundation.org.

Holiday Entertaining: Whole Foods in Woburn invites residents to spend a Saturday afternoon of holiday cheer as Susty Party will be in the store demonstrating how to make holiday wreaths from compostable straws. There will also be food and more at the holiday event, which begins at 12 p.m.

Brunch With Santa: On Sunday at 11 a.m. inside the Crowne Plaza, families can experience brunch with Santa inside the Grand Ballroom. Tickets cost $19.95 for adults and $10.95 for children 3-12 years old. Children under three years old get in for free. The Lisa Love Experience will also be in the house for a family holiday sing-along during the event, while there will be cookie decorating and holiday crafts as well.
