Autism Awareness Event Scheduled for Saturday

There are a variety of events happening this weekend in Woburn, and here are a few of them to help you plan your time off.

Woburn and the surrounding area is full of things to do this weekend. Here is a look at some of those events. 

Autism Awareness: On Saturday at 7 p.m. the St. Anthony Club of North Woburn is hosting its third annual Raise Awareness for Autism event that is being run by the Women's Auxiliary and Men's Club. Guest can come to the event for a $10 cover charge which includes food, raffles and music by the Rock City Bank. Proceeds benefit an upcoming Walk for Autism.

Senior Center Fall Festival: The Woburn Senior Center hosts its annual Fall Festival on Friday beginning at 9 a.m. The event includes breakfast, lunch, door prizes and more.

Comedy Show: "The Joke is on You" this Friday night as a variety of comedy acts come together for a show at the Tanner Comedy Room on Friday night. The show starts at 7 p.m. and includes local comedian Gary Leavitt along with Paul Nardizzi, who performs nationally and has been on Conan O'Brien and David Letterman.
