Championship Football, Electronics Recycling and a Symphony Performance

There are a variety of events happening this weekend in Woburn, and here are a few of them to help you plan your time off.

Woburn and the surrounding area is full of things to do this weekend. Here is a look at some of those events.

Football Title Game: The Woburn High School football team is one win away from a division championship. The Tanners travel to Melrose at 7 p.m. on Friday night to play in the Northwest Division 3 title game. Check back with Woburn Patch for complete coverage of the game.

Appliance Recycling: Resident Paul Medeiros has organized an appliance and electronics recycling collection on Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Spence Farm on Wyman Street. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Wyman School PTO and some will go towards a scholarship for a Woburn High School student.

Symphony Performance: Not far from Woburn, the Reading Symphony Orchestra will be holding its fall concert on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. The event will take place at Parker Middle School on Temple Street. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $15 for adults and $10 for students. You can also call (978) 664-5614 for tickets.
