Halloween Events for Dogs, Adults and Runners This Weekend

There are a variety of events happening this weekend in Woburn, and here are a few of them to help you plan your time off.

Woburn and the surrounding area is full of things to do this weekend. Here is a look at some of those events. 

Friends Helping Seniors: Friends Helping Seniors hosts an Octoberfest Holiday Fair on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. inside the Woburn Senior Center on School Street. The event features a bake sale, book and video sale, holiday table, jewelry and more. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Halloween for the Dogs: Halloween costumes aren't just for humans you know. McCue Garden Center is hosting its second annual Doggie Costume Contest. The event takes place at 12 p.m. and does not cost anything. Prizes will be awarded.

Haunted Happening: Woburn Public Library is hosting its own Halloween event. The library holds Haunted Halloween Happening on Saturday at 7 p.m. This is an adult event that includes food, music, games, beer and wine. Tickets are $25 for the event and bring your dancing shoes.

Monster Dash: The Woburn Lions Club holds its second annual Monster Dash and Haunted Walk on Sunday at Lions Park on the grounds of Horn Pond. For more information on the event, visit the SCI Woburn website.
