Woburn Hosts Cancer Fundraiser, Motorcycle Ride and Yard Sales

There are a variety of events happening this weekend in Woburn, and here are a few of them to help you plan your time off.

Motorcycle Ride: Motorcycles and classic vehicles can take place in an escorted ride from Medford to Woburn, hosted by the Woburn Middlesex Lions Club. Registration starts at 12 p.m. for $20 per person. The ride starts at 1:30 p.m. from Raso's Bar and Grill in Medford and ends at Woburn's Sons of Italy Hall, where there will be prizes, music, raffles, and an Oldies Dance.

Breast Cancer Fundraiser: Jim Plunkett will provide entertainment during a fundraising event hosted by TEAM ALISA, which raises money for Alisa Macone's breast cancer medical treatment bills. Saturday's event takes place at 7 p.m. inside the Woburn Elks Lodge and includes an Italian dinner and many raffle items. Tickets are $25 per person.

Garden Class: McCue Garden Center invites residents to come to the Cambridge Road business and learn to make a rustic fall display inside a bail of hay. The cost for the class is $25, and it takes place on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Yard Sales: Among the yard sales this weekend in Woburn are a pair that will benefit the fight against cancer. One of those yard sales takes place on Anna Road at 8:30 a.m. Saturday while the other begins the same day at 9 a.m. on 57 Wood Street.
