D1 Trojans: All Dressed Up, Nowhere To Go
The undefeated Woburn Police Superior Officers, Local 528, D1  Trojans were scheduled to play the undefeated West Lynn Rams this past Sunday at Woburn Memorial High School.  Someone forgot to tell the entire Rams roster, as only 15 players showed up on-time for kickoff.  Pop Warner rules dictate that a team must have a minimum of 16 players dressed in order to play an official game.  Since everyone got up and out on this rain soaked morning, Head Coach John Ferrone offered to play West Lynn in a scrimmage.  The Rams staff declined the offer and fled the scene.  
The Trojans, now 5-0, are scheduled to host Waltham next Sunday, October 13, at 9:30.  A huge thank to our D1 cheerleaders for braving the elements this morning…
