Rock Star Kittens: Jefferson & Zeppelin Looking for a Home

Brother kittens waiting for their forever home.

Jefferson and Zeppelin are a bonded pair of 6-month old brother kittens whose favorite things include chasing fuzzy mouse toys, running and tackling each other mid-air, sleeping, and eating (Zeppelin especially!).  They're looking for a quiet home together, with no small children, where they have plenty of room to run and play, and where they will get all the love and attention they so deserve.

Zeppelin (tabby) is a sweet, shy, gentle little guy.  He may need a little time to warm up to a new family but loves to play and takes his cues from his more confident brother.  Our volunteers think he has the most handsome markings.  Jefferson (black and white) is an outgoing, fearless kitten.  He loves to run and is always on the go.  Jefferson likes attention in short spurts but always comes back for more.  These boys are full of typical kitten energy - take out a feather toy and see just how much fun they are!

Think two kittens are too much?  Take moment to reconsider.  Many times kittens are taken away from their littermates and adopted out as single cats.  This can not only delay the kitten's ability to develop property, it can also lead to the destructive behaviors that force owners to return cats to shelters before they're a year old - aggressive play, inappropriate chewing/scratching, night "attacks" on sleeping humans, etc. When kittens are adopted out in pairs they become each other's outlet for their boundless energy and develop into happier, more social cats than those that are not.  A pair of kittens adopted together will still bond and interact with their owners, but will also keep each other occupied while people are at work and away from home.  For more information on why kittens should be adopted in pairs, click here.
